About This Print: 
Flow state is a mental state where you're do deeply absorbed in what you're doing that everything else disappears. It can be described as the moment when challenge meets skill, when you're doing something hard enough to require your full attention, but familiar enough that your body knows what to do. It feels like time is moving differently, you're not overthinking instead just doing, being completely present and distractions are fading away into the background. This flow state arises when you stop thinking about the results and drop into doing... creating because it feels good, moving because it feels good, allowing the mind to soften and the body to take over. 

A lot of surfers love surfing because it allows them to drop into this meditative state. This photo was taken on the beach during a surf competition in Indonesia and emulates that feeling of being in your own world, focusing despite the noise around. 

A Spark for the Soul -
