About This Print:
I drove my bike across Lombok in hopes of capturing these monkeys in their natural habitat, but after not getting 'the shot' I had to leave, feeling defeated... But I wasn't giving up, I packed my bag, got back on my bike, and returned to the jungle. This time, everything aligned, and I was in the right place at the right moment. 

For me, this image represents what photography really is: not perfect settings or expensive gear, but the willingness to keep going. To take risks, to wake up early, get uncomfortable, and to try one more time even when you think it might not work.

This print holds that spirit: That if you want something in life, it's up to you to make it happen, it's never easy, but if you don't try or if you fail and don't get back up, you'll have to sit with the feeling of regret instead.
