About This Print: 
This photo is part of the story that started it all... the trip that made me start writing and also the adventure that convinced me to quit my job! Six months before this photo was taken, I signed up to climb Island Peak with a group of strangers. I knew this would be the biggest physical challenge of my life, to climb 6,000m in the Himalayas. During this time, I was living a very comfortable life, working a lot, and in my spare time hiking/ training. But my life felt anything but comfortable; I had a constant unsettling feeling of not knowing what I wanted to do with my life. I was working in real estate, but that is far from my passion. I didn't know what else I wanted to do, but I knew it was some sort of adventure. I decided to quit my job and see where the flow of life would take me. So I flew to Nepal with no plans of a new life, just blind trust that it would work out... somehow. (and it did)
