About this print: 

In 2023, I went on a vacation to Nusa Penida to complete my freediving certificate. I was living in Australia, working in real estate, and the seed had been planted to quit my job and go travel the world. This trip would be a test. Whilst I was there, I was invited to sail around to some islands on a boat, but I had to say no because I knew I needed to go back to work. Sitting in my office, I thought to myself, 'I never want to feel like this again. I never want to have to say no to an adventure.' This cemented my decision to create a life for myself where I would have location freedom. This photo was taken the next year, I quit my job, left to travel, and went back to the same freediving school, but this time with my new love, photography. 

I shot this photo using my sony a7iii in an underwater housing; the reflection of the camera's lens creates an artistic abstract layer to this shot.
